The Lynne Ruffin-Smith Foundation donated a table for Ten veterans to attend the ‘Keep Memory Alive Benefit-Summer Social & Rodeo’ on 29 June at Shakespeare Ranch in Glenbrook, near Lake Tahoe. This event benefits the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health at the Cleveland Clinic in Las Vegas. The veterans were selected by the Nevada Department of Veterans Services and are pictured above at the social buffet portion of the event. The veterans included students of the University of Nevada-Reno or from the Truckee Meadows Community College, staff members from NDVS, and members from Post 1864. This was an all day and evening fundraiser with a rodeo, BBQ buffet, and a dance with a live band.
